PTA

The PTA raises thousands of pounds each year which is spent directly on your children.  We really want the PTA to continue and to make it as successful as possible.

WILTHORPE PRIMARY SCHOOL PTA

Dear Parents and Friends,

Wilthorpe Primary School PTA is a voluntary organisation which aims to involve parents in school life, fund raising and other activities. All parents are automatically PTA members and are welcome to attend meetings which are advertised in the news letter and on the school calendar. An extra pair of hands is always welcome at PTA events, even if you cannot attend the meetings. Without question, the most valuable asset that we have is the volunteer.

The PTA can help parents:

• improve the school
• get to know each other – whilst taking part in enjoyable activities
• share common concerns
• find out more about how the school works
• fundraise for extra items or services to enrich the children’s education

The PTA can help children:

• receive a richer education as a result of items provided by the PTA
• benefit from your increased knowledge and understanding of the school community

The PTA can help teachers:

• reach potential volunteers and enthusiasts who can help with school projects

Winter Fayre 23-24

We would like to say a huge thank you for all your support with the Winter Fayre and your generous contributions. We had a wonderful evening and the feedback has been extremely positive. The Fayre raised a huge £2,278.36, this money will go towards refurbishment of our libraries and thank you once again for your support with this.

A huge thank you to our PTA and volunteers for working through the day to ensure the Fayre was a success. To our Year 6 pupils who volunteered their time our sincere thanks as you were a credit to yourselves and our school.
