Wilthorpe Primary School Aim high and never give up

Y3 3GW/3DH

Welcome to Year 3!

Welcome to the webpage for 3MD/3WS

Our teachers are Miss Dixon (3MD) and Mr Simmons (3WS).

Home learning is important and each week children have a set of spellings to learn. These are handed out at the beginning of every half term for the forthcoming weeks. They are also posted on Google Classroom, as well as being displayed on the window by the Y3 doors. Spelling tests take place every Friday. Reading at home is also encouraged and rewarded and we recommend at least 3 days a week. Reading folders go home on Fridays and need to be returned to school every Wednesday.

PE days - Tuesday (indoor) and Thursday (outdoor)

We expect children to bring their full kit all week and ensure all items of clothing are labelled. Earrings are NOT permitted for PE, nor plasters to cover them. They must be removed on PE days.

We encourage children to come into school independently every morning.
