School is currently working on the implications and how we will open school safely for all of those involved.
There are a number of ways to support your child's learning at home over the coming weeks. As a school we value the importance of reading so one way is by sharing books and reading together to promote a love of books. Below are the learning expectations for each year group in Reading (under the heading VIPERS), Writing, Maths and Phonics in line with the National Curriculum. This should give you additional direction, along with the year group page, about what your child has been learning and what they would be going on to learn.
Please follow us on Twitter for regular updates and activities to keep you busy. The teachers have been tweeting lots of links to websites and different challenges to complete. Feel free to tweet a response - the teachers would love to hear from you!

E-safety
To ensure your child remains safe online during the school closure Thinkuknow.co.uk have produced home activity packs to support parents. Each fortnight, new activities will be available to complete with your child to support their online safety. There's also information if you are concerned about an e-safety incident and a link to report concerns to CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection).

Unable to see books or access quizzes online? This message from Miss Gill might help:
Access to Rising Stars Reading Planet: When you have logged in and selected reception and key stage 1 or key stage 2, scroll right down past the auto assigned quizzes to find the books. All books from all bands will be visible; this may look different from the last time that you logged in. At this moment not all books and quizzes are compatible with some tablets or smart phones. Rising Stars Reading planet are working to resolve this issue.
